Forest of Radgost is a cooperative storytelling tabletop game that brings Slavic mythology vividly to life through detailed miniatures and immersive narratives.

Set in 9th century Europe, the story begins when a boy and a girl vanish from their village. The village druid sends out a search party to find and safely return the children. As a member of this party, you must venture into the sacred forest, crossing the boundary between the human world and the mysterious realm of the Slavic deity Radgost.

The forest is home to strange and dangerous creatures like the Psoglav, Lesnik, and Todorci, all hostile to human intruders. To survive, you’ll need to rely on your skills, wisdom, and instincts during multiple encounters with these beings.

Throughout your journey, you develop your character by collecting items, gaining skills, and managing separations and reunions within the search party. You may also uncover the hidden reason why the druid chose you for this mission.

As a role-playing game, each player controls a character with a detailed backstory, motivations, and abilities. Movement through the forest’s interconnected footpaths is determined by dice rolls that dictate distance and direction, simulating the feeling of being lost with creatures lurking at every crossroads.

During encounters, players must decide whether to run, hide, flee, or communicate without knowing which creature they face. The outcomes depend on numerous scenarios found in the accompanying encounter book.

Nine decks of cards add an open-world dimension, enriching exploration of the game’s deep world, based on four years of research into Slavic mythology. The combination of scenarios, map details, and cards creates a unique storyline, ensuring that no two adventures are the same.
