Description

Four Gardens ist ein Kennerspiel. In einem mystischen östlichen Königreich wetteifern die Spieler darum, den prächtigsten Garten um eine Pagode zu gestalten. Dabei gilt es, die Gunst der vier Götter durch geschicktes Platzieren von Gartenplättchen und strategische Kontrolle zu gewinnen.

Long ago, in a beautiful Eastern kingdom, a queen and her people honored their gods by building a mystical pagoda. This pagoda, which housed the four gods, stood tall over the magnificent kingdom. When the queen fell ill, she summoned her people to compete for her crown. The inheritance would go to the person who could create the most pristine garden around the pagoda, with the four gods themselves choosing the rightful heir. In Four Gardens, players score points by completing landscape cards and assembling sets called panoramas. Each panorama forms a sweeping view of a garden around the pagoda. To complete a panorama, players begin by placing groundwork cards. They then gain resources by turning the 3D pagoda and use those resources to fulfill the groundwork cards’ requirements. Once satisfied, groundwork cards transform into landscape cards. Arranging multiple landscape cards in the proper sequence creates a panorama. Each god has a satisfaction meter reflecting their favor toward the gardens and their creators. Players aim to please the gods by completing landscape cards and finishing panoramas, ultimately earning the crown.
