Beschreibung

Fox Grove (engl.) is a family game for 2 to 4 players aged 10+ with a playing time of 30-45 minutes. Players build the most prosperous animal village by managing cards and resources through a unique trick-taking phase and tableau expansion. An introductory mode offers an easy start for beginners before exploring deeper strategies.

Deep in the whispering woods, a lively animal village is beginning to flourish. In Fox Grove, your goal is to create the most prosperous village by skillfully managing your hand of cards and the resources you gather over four rounds.

Each round starts with a trick-taking phase where playing the right cards is crucial to securing valuable resources. However, seasoned card players will find a unique twist in the trick-taking rules that challenges conventional strategies and demands flexibility to the forest’s ever-changing rhythm.

Resources won from tricks can then be used to expand your personal tableau:

• Expand your Village: Build structures that generate Victory Points.
• Unlock Abilities: Gain special skills that offer strategic advantages in upcoming rounds.

Fox Grove offers a welcoming introduction to the genre with a dedicated Introductory Mode, making it accessible for families and beginners before they explore the full strategic depth of the game.

After four rounds, the player who has built the most impressive village and earned the most Victory Points wins the game.
