Fresco incl. 3 Expansions (engl.)

Beschreibung

Fresco incl. 3 Expansions (engl.) is a family game for 2 to 4 players aged 10+ with a playing time of 60 minutes. Players act as master painters restoring a Renaissance fresco by managing apprentices, mixing paints, and competing for painting opportunities. The game includes three expansions, allowing for flexible play from lighter family sessions to more challenging experiences with high replay value.

In Fresco, players take on the role of master painters restoring a Renaissance church’s fresco. Each round begins with choosing what time to wake up: the earlier you rise, the earlier your turn order and access to better actions. However, waking up too early repeatedly will make your apprentices unhappy, reducing their efficiency since they prefer to sleep in. During their turns, players deploy apprentices to various tasks such as buying paint, mixing colors, working on the fresco, raising money by painting portraits, or even sending apprentices to the opera to boost their happiness. Points are mainly earned by painting the fresco, which requires specific paint combinations—so strategic purchasing and mixing of paints is essential, along with competing against others for the best paints and fresco segments. Fresco includes three expansion modules, allowing you to play a straightforward family game without expansions or add extra layers of strategy and challenge for increased variety and replay value.
