The game features deduction, bluffing, and special auction cards for varied and strategic gameplay.

Buying castles in Scotland can be a profitable venture—especially if you can attract tourists with their most infamous feature: ghost infestations. In Ghost for Sale, players take on the role of eccentric investors bidding at auctions to acquire castles and manors. The challenge lies in balancing the haunting factors: castles without ghosts tend to be dull and unappealing to visitors, while those overrun with spectres scare tourists away, making your investment worthless. After inspecting the properties, players declare what they have spotted—are there eerie presences lurking in the halls or just old family portraits gathering dust? But be cautious; these statements may not always be truthful. That's where Mrs. Truelight comes in, offering her services to reveal whether others are honest—if you’re willing to pay her price. Ghost for Sale is a clever deduction game with a subtle bluffing element, designed for 3 to 5 players. While accessible to all ages, it offers enough strategic depth to engage even seasoned gamers. The game includes a set of eight special cards for advanced rules, introducing "special auctions" that can be shuffled with the regular castles, ensuring every round brings new excitement.
