Guerrilla Generation ist ein Kennerspiel für 2–4 Personen. Das Spiel thematisiert den bewaffneten Widerstand in Mittelamerika zwischen den 1960ern und 1980ern. Spieler übernehmen die Rolle von Guerillagruppen, steuern Ressourcen, kontrollieren Gebiete und verhandeln, um soziale und politische Veränderungen herbeizuführen.

In certain countries, insurgent leaders transformed local governance structures, involving civilians in political change; elsewhere, they built administrative systems focused solely on resource extraction. Violence sometimes targeted victims selectively, while in other cases it appeared indiscriminate or random. Movements occasionally looted and destroyed civilian property, but at times also protected it from government attacks. – Jeremy Weinstein, Inside Rebellion The Guerrilla Generation: Cold War Insurgencies in Latin America is the second COIN multipack, featuring four distinct games that explore thematically linked insurgencies. Building on The British Way, this collection allows players to examine different organizational structures, strategies, and relationships with civilians among insurgent groups across four conflicts in Central and South America between 1968 and 1992. During this Cold War period, Latin America saw a wide variety of insurgent movements inspired in part by the Cuban Revolution shown in Cuba Libre. These ranged from popular-supported rural insurgencies and flexible urban guerrilla groups to externally backed raiders and ideologically rigid, brutal factions. This multipack includes one game representing each of these insurgency types, enabling players to compare diverse approaches to rebellion as described by Jeremy Weinstein. The Guerrilla Generation offers four longer and more complex individual games than those in The British Way, as well as a unique linked campaign scenario that merges two games into a simultaneous side-by-side experience.
