Hanamikoji Geishas Road (engl.)

Beschreibung

In Hanamikoji: Geisha's Road, two players compete in a strategic duel filled with subtle intentions and hidden moves. Each player supports a group of promising apprentices (maiko) on their path to becoming full geisha and, possibly, the respected owners (okaasan) of their teahouses.

Players help their favored geisha gain prestige by promoting their performances at various teahouses. Starting as maiko, the geisha earn prestige points upon their graduation ceremony (erikae) when they return to their original teahouse (ochaya). Some may even advance further to inherit the teahouse through a second return, gaining additional prestige as the new okaasan.

At the end of the game, the player who has most strongly supported each geisha is acknowledged. Victory goes to the player who has fostered the group of geisha with the highest collective prestige.
