Hell of a Deal (engl.)

Description

Hell of a Deal (engl.) is a strategy game for 2 to 4 players aged 14+ with a playing time of 90-120 minutes. Players cooperate in a Texas Hold'em style poker game against The Devil and his minions, using cheating and special abilities to win. Each boss changes gameplay, and managing Temptation is key to survival and victory.

In Hell of a Deal, you team up to play poker against The Devil Himself and his minions, each one cheating to gain the upper hand. To survive, you’ll have to cheat too – but beware, the more you bend the rules, the closer you get to losing everything.

The game takes place in The Last Resort & Casino, where your goal is to reach the Big Table and face off against devious bosses like Dedly Aloor, Jack Potts, The Brothers Dreadful, and Roul-ette. Each boss adds unique twists and requires you to beat a minimum hand if their cards don’t turn out well.

Hell of a Deal plays like Texas Hold’em poker, but with a twist: each player receives three cards instead of two, including one hidden card for added strategy. Along the way, you can earn Favor cards that allow special cheating moves—like creating a four-card flush—but these come with the risk of curses or temptation.

Your chips represent Souls, the currency used to challenge The Devil at the Big Table. Alternatively, you can bet one of your five Power chips to unlock abilities such as revealing a boss’s hidden card or adding a face-up discard to your hand. However, losing a wager carries heavy penalties, and giving in to too much temptation ends the game in defeat.

Hell of a Deal combines the thrill of high-stakes poker with inventive gameplay mechanics, delivering an intense poker night experience in about 90 to 120 minutes.
