Hellenica Story of Greece (engl.)

Description

An explosion of creativity and conflict shaped the Aegean Basin around 800 B.C., giving rise to ancient Greece as we know it. Powerful city-states such as Athens, Sparta, Corinth, Troy, Byzantium, Corcyra, and Thebes led a dynamic blend of science, mythology, development, and warfare, competing for dominance over their rivals and influencing the lesser states nearby. Some of these cities have left a legacy still remembered today. Hellenica: Story of Greece is a 3.5X civilization game that lets you take control of one of seven founding city-states. Your objective is to assert your dominance and become the enduring symbol of Greek civilization by fulfilling a mix of secret and public goals. Will your legacy be that of a warmonger or a philosopher? A revered priest or a heretic? Do you dedicate yourself to the gods or prioritize the progress of your people? Can you guide your city-state through these turbulent times and ensure your vision of Hellenic civilization endures through the ages—or will you serve merely as a stepping stone for another to rise?
