Description

Hula Hoo is a children's game for 2 to 6 players aged 8+. Players compete to keep their hula hoops spinning by playing cards higher, lower, or matching the previous card. The goal is to discard all cards or force others out. The first to reach 77 points wins in this card-based challenge featuring global animal characters.

Animals from around the world have gathered for the hula hoop championships, where the challenge is to keep the hoop spinning as long as possible. This is represented by the cards each player holds. The objective is to get rid of all your cards or to force all other players to drop out by “dropping their hoop.” Each player starts with five cards in their hand and five cards face up in front of them. On your turn, you can play either a face-up card or one from your hand. The first player plays any card and then challenges the next player to play a card that is either higher or lower. Players can follow this or choose to “double” by playing the same card as the previous player. When a double occurs, everyone must double as well or break the double by playing a neighboring card or a joker. If a player cannot play a valid card, they drop their hoop and are out of the round. The round ends when only one player remains or when a player has discarded all their cards. The winner of the round collects as many cards as were played during that round. The first player to reach 77 points wins the game.
