I Napoleon - The Limits of Glory (Exp.) (engl.) I, Napoleon: The Limits of Glory expands the base game with new events, characters, and political challenges. It adds complexity, more cards, and up to two hours of additional playtime. Players will encounter new commanders, lovers, allies, and enemies, while managing political unrest and new expedition cards, enriching the solo experience of Napoleon's life.

I, Napoleon is a solo biographical card game that places you in the role of Napoleon Bonaparte in 1793, allowing you to explore the possible paths his life could have taken until his death in 1821. While the original game includes 222 cards covering everything from Napoleon’s Marshals to his mistresses, the author found there was still more to tell. This led to the creation of I, Napoleon: The Limits of Glory, an expansion that adds even deeper layers to the experience. This expansion is entirely optional and not required to play the original game, which stands complete on its own. However, The Limits of Glory introduces new events, characters, political challenges, and opportunities. It also brings additional complexity, more cards to manage, and can extend playing time by up to two hours. You'll encounter new commanders such as Suchet, fresh romantic interests, political allies, and formidable enemies, including the Russian Imperial Guard. Political Points gain greater significance, as managing unrest from both Jacobins and Royalists becomes more critical. The Spanish Ulcer becomes a larger threat with the addition of three new Expedition cards, and Portugal finally plays a strategic role on the map, involving the Portuguese Royal Family. This expansion enriches the narrative and strategic depth for those looking to dive further into Napoleon’s turbulent world.
