GDM Games (2022)Insecta: The Ladies of Entomology ist ein Familienspiel.
We are familiar with the journeys and discoveries of famous naturalists like Darwin and Humboldt, but the contributions of many women in entomology have often gone unrecognized. Despite facing significant obstacles because of their gender, these women showed remarkable courage, determination, and passion for the study of insects.
Insecta: The Ladies of Entomology honors both the science of entomology and these pioneering women. Players take on the role of entomologists competing to assemble the most beautiful and diverse insect collection in the world.
On each turn, you select two insect or target cards aiming to maximize your points. Each entomologist or traveler card offers specific objectives related to the sequence of insects and the geographical locations where they are found, guiding your strategy throughout the game.
