Keep the Faith is a storytelling game set in a religion undergoing change. Combining elements of role-playing and board gaming, it invites players to collaboratively create stories that explore complex, sometimes conflicting beliefs. Throughout the game, players use cards and narration to depict how different aspects of the Faith reflect diverse values: How does your religious music express a commitment to welcoming outsiders compared to a desire for power? What does an altar reveal if it is meant to keep secrets rather than spread teachings? External pressures and internal tensions influence the shifting beliefs within the Faith, which may eventually lead to fragmentation or decline. When the era deck is depleted, the outcome is determined by comparing the number of cards representing orthodox versus schismatic values. Keep the Faith offers an accessible way to engage with a challenging theme by fostering meaningful narratives and thoughtful discussions among players.
