Eagle-Gryphon Games King's Kilt (engl.) is a family game for 2 to 4 players aged 10+ with a playing time of 20 minutes. Players compete for power and prestige in the Scottish clans by promoting hidden candidates to the throne. Strategic placement and treachery help players gain victory points and claim the seat of power in Scotland.
In King's Kilt, players compete for influence over the clans to gain power and prestige in the battle for the Scottish crown. Each player begins with three hidden Clan Members who serve as candidates vying for promotion to the throne. Throughout the game, players strategically position their candidates within the clan hierarchy to advance their claim.
Cunning and treachery are key elements, allowing players to hinder or eliminate opponents standing in their way. Victory points are awarded at the end based on whether a player's candidates align with the clans of the King, Guardians, or Nobles. The player with the highest score earns the coveted seat of power in Scotland.
