Kingdom Run (engl.)

Beschreibung

Every hundred years, the King of Ewala calls for a race between the kingdom’s clans. The prize? The throne itself. The winning clan earns the right to rule for the next century. In Kingdom Run, each clan fields four athletes who rely on both their speed and your strategic thinking. The twist: the faster you move, the faster your opponents can advance. Specifically, every step you take allows your rivals to move two steps—unless the distance between you grows too large. It’s a clever balance of risk and timing to outsmart your opponents and seize the crown. On your turn, you roll four dice that determine possible actions, with a chance to reroll some dice once. You can choose to move your own athletes forward, or strategically advance your opponents’ athletes to create openings for yourself. When a cell fills with four athletes, it becomes full, forcing any additional athletes to move forward one space. This can be used to your advantage—imagine cleverly pushing rival athletes into the lake to slow them down. Kingdom Run challenges you to think ahead and manage both your own moves and those of your opponents in a dynamic race for power. Who will outmaneuver the rest and become the next ruler of Ewala?
