Kyoto No Neko (engl.)

Beschreibung

In Kyoto no Neko, players take on the role of kittens exploring the vibrant modern city of Kyoto, Japan through a variety of independent, replayable scenarios. Each scenario challenges players to complete missions that reflect typical cat behaviors—whether making friends with a schoolboy, confronting a rival stray cat, or cunningly stealing food from another player’s bowl. As the game progresses, each kitten develops new skills, unlocking the ability to explore previously inaccessible areas such as bushes and rooftops. The skill system encourages interaction with Kyoto’s diverse inhabitants, both human and animal, enriching the experience with unique encounters every turn. Players gradually uncover the city’s hidden details, revealing everything from tiny insects to distinctive objects and local residents. These elements are represented by both cardboard tiles and standees, creating a visually engaging game environment that brings Kyoto’s streets and alleys to life.
