Loot of Lima (engl.)

Beschreibung

In 1820, uprisings in Peru forced the Spanish government to move its treasure from Lima to Mexico for safekeeping. However, the crew tasked with transporting the loot turned pirate and hid the treasure on the Island of Cocos. Now it’s up to you to find it — but to succeed, you’ll need to carefully share information with your fellow pirates and outsmart the Spanish before they catch you. Loot of Lima is a challenging deduction game set on the Island of Cocos, which features 24 distinct locations: 8 on the shore, 8 in the forest, and 8 in the mountains. The treasure is hidden in two of these locations. At the start, two tokens corresponding to the treasure’s locations are placed back in the box, while the remaining tokens are distributed evenly among players. These represent places that have already been searched and where the treasure is not hidden. Each turn, players roll three 12-sided dice to determine the questions they may ask their opponents. Questions might include, for example, how many locations a player has searched between the southeast and the northwest, or how many forest locations have been searched between the west and the south. By compiling answers, players build overlapping clues to eliminate searched areas and ultimately uncover the two hidden treasure spots.
