Z-Man Games (2010)
Mines of Zavandor (engl.) is a kinderspiel for 2 to 4 players aged 8+ with a playing time of 60 minutes. Players compete as candidates in a procession through the mines to become the new King of the Dwarves by collecting gems and bidding on improvements. The player with the most victory points upon reaching the Coronation Chamber wins.
Grimmborn, King of the Dwarves of Zavandor, is preparing to retire and must select his successor. Tradition dictates that this choice is made through a procession of two to four candidates navigating the mines.
As one of these candidates, you follow the Path to Kingship, a journey deep into the mountains leading to the Coronation Chamber. Along the way, you gather gems to bid on various improvements and their upgrades. Ultimately, the player who accumulates the most victory points by the time they reach the chamber becomes the new King of the Dwarves.
