Mr. President (engl.)

Beschreibung

Mr. President is a solitaire game about governing as the President of the United States, starting after the election. The game focuses on managing the challenges of sitting in The Chair: advancing your agenda amid ongoing crises, political opposition, public opinion, relations with Congress and the press, and maintaining national security in a complex world of competing agendas. As a resource management game, you’ll never have quite enough resources to fully realize your entire agenda. The story unfolds unpredictably, shaped by the decisions you make. Depending on how those choices play out in each unique game, you might find yourself thinking either "POTUS? Piece of Cake!" or "Why did I want this job?" more than once. Like the real President, you have a team of allies and resources to help navigate both domestic and international challenges. These vary each game but always include your Secretary of State and Secretary of Defense, who assist with foreign policy and the possible use of military power. You’ll also rely on a group of domestic advisors and Congressional allies to manage political hurdles at home. Additionally, you’ll have access to at least one exceptional talent—someone who excels in their role and acts as a "force multiplier" in your administration. How you lead and leverage this group will play a crucial role in determining your success or failure as Mr. President.
