Napoleon's Imperium is a large-scale, team-based war game set during the turbulent Napoleonic era. The game begins in 1798, just before Napoleon's 1799 coup d’état, and challenges two to eight players to lead one of eight empires divided into two alliances. Each empire has its own distinct strengths, weaknesses, economy, and strategic geographic position. Success depends on forming strong alliances and adapting to shifting political landscapes. Turn-based gameplay involves intense military engagements, with an average of 80 to 100 battles per game. Sessions can range from shorter “Battle Point” games lasting several hours to longer “Capital” campaign games spanning multiple days. Players accumulate prestige and ranking points over time the more they play. The game features a high-quality playing map, comprehensive Battle and Empire Reference Cards, and large counters detailed with images of hand-painted figurines. Napoleon's Imperium combines strategic depth and historical immersion for a richly rewarding experience.
