Oak Standard (engl.)

Beschreibung

Oak Standard (engl.) is a strategy game for 1 to 4 players aged 12+ with a playing time of 90 minutes. Players lead druidic orders competing to gain the favor of a sacred Oak by forming alliances with mythical creatures, mastering potions, and creating sacred places. Only one order will unlock the ancient secrets and prove worthy of the Oak's spirit.

In the heart of a vast, hidden forest stands a mighty sacred Oak—an ancient tree that has witnessed the world’s beginnings. It is said that the Ancients carved the first animals and humans from its wood. Druidic orders from far and wide gather around its roots to bask in the Oak’s glory, deepen their discipline, and demonstrate their devotion. Arch-Druids sanctify sacred places and erect rune-etched stone monoliths. Bards collect stories on their travels, Ovates interpret omens to glimpse the future, and Talon-Masters defend their Order’s beliefs with strength. Surrounded by such potent mystical energy, the veil between this world and the Otherworld grows thin, allowing mythical creatures to emerge. Those Druids who know how to befriend these beings can gain powerful allies. Their presence often enhances the Druids’ own powers, inspiring knowledge of potent wild potions and revealing long-forgotten magical artifacts. Though many gather beneath its branches, only one Order will be chosen by the Oak’s spirit to learn its deepest secrets. As a leader, you start with a small and humble Order, but by forging friendships with mythical creatures, mastering powerful potions, and creating new sacred sites, you will grow your Order’s strength. Can you prove your Order worthy in the eyes of the sacred Oak and unlock the mysteries of the Ancients?
