Odd Ville (engl.)

Beschreibung

Odd Ville (engl.) is a Familienspiel for 2 to 4 players aged 10+ with a playing time of 30 to 60 minutes. Players build the city of OddVille by placing buildings and managing workers to gain resources, coins, and projects. Strategic placement of roads and buildings grants bonuses, while guild visits add dynamic challenges. The game ends when a player builds their sixth building, with the highest score winning.

In OddVille, each player has been hired to help build the city, home to four powerful worker guilds. Strategically place your buildings to gain influence and fame while disrupting your opponents' plans. Manage your workers carefully to collect resources, coins, and building projects that will shape the city according to your ambitions.

Plan the city layout by connecting streets to buildings, gaining access to resources or coins from adjacent structures—whether they belong to you or others. Impress the guilds, and you might receive aid from a guild member visiting your city, though these visits can be unexpectedly cut short when the guild calls them back at a moment's notice, often with mischievous timing.

OddVille is a card-driven city-building game where all actions are performed by playing one of your four Worker cards. Each Worker card offers unique powers and can be used to acquire projects, gather resources, or collect coins. On your turn, choose to play a Worker card or add a building to the city, connecting it with roads to benefit from their bonuses.

The city grows dynamically as players contribute, continuously changing the value of buildings. The game ends when a player constructs their sixth building, and the one with the most points claims victory.
