Oh Crab (engl.)

Beschreibung

Oh Crab (engl.) is a childrens game for 2 to 5 players aged 8+ with a playing time of 40-60 minutes. Players race their crabs across a modular board, using clever card play to overcome obstacles and reach the safe sea first. Strategic deck building and chaining card actions add depth to this exciting escape adventure.

Race to safety along the beach in Oh, Crab!, where you play as crabs escaping the fry-house and trying to reach the protective waves of the sea. The game features a modular, double-sided board that ensures a fresh challenge every time you play. Players move their crabs by playing cards face down each round, then executing the actions printed on them. Cards can be cleverly chained by matching halves of icons, allowing extended moves and opportunities to earn shells. These shells can be spent on special actions, adding strategic depth. Along the way, crabs encounter various obstacles such as sandcastles, rubbish, hungry gulls, and other crabs also struggling toward the water. When pushed into obstacles or moving through them, players must discard cards and spend a turn resting to recover their hand and gain a new card that grants additional special actions and chaining possibilities. The first crab to reach the safe waters of the sea wins the game, making every decision crucial in this tactical race.
