Renegade Game Studios (2019)Paladins of the West Kingdom (engl.) is a strategy game for 1 to 4 players aged 12+ with a playing time of 90 to 120 minutes. Set in West Francia around 900 AD, players gather workers to defend against enemies, build fortifications, and spread faith, aided by the king's knights in a turbulent historical setting.
Set in the turbulent era of West Francia around 900 AD, Paladins of the West Kingdom places players in the roles of noble men and women tasked with protecting their lands. Although the city is developing, surrounding townships face constant threats from outsiders: Saracens scout the borders, Vikings raid for wealth and livestock, and even Byzantines from the east reveal a darker side.
Players must recruit workers from the city to defend against these enemies, construct fortifications, and spread their faith across the region. Adding to their strength, the King has sent his finest knights to aid in these efforts. Prepare to rally your forces as the Paladins approach.
