Pier 18 (engl.)

Beschreibung

In Pier 18, you step into the shoes of a Victorian pier builder competing to create the finest seaside pier in the country. With just 18 cards, you draft and position sections of your pier, extending it out over the sea to build a unique structure that scores the most victory points. On your turn, you select one card from the center of the table and add it to your pier. While this enlarges your pier, the placement influences how many points you earn. The game concludes when all cards have been drafted. Players then score points based on satisfying the needs of pier visitors and workers, as well as meeting the demands of influential patrons who support one pier at the end of each round. Each player also pursues a personal goal throughout the game. After several rounds, the player with the highest total victory points wins, earning the title of the greatest pier builder of their generation.
