Beschreibung

The Plum Island Horror: More of a Bad Thing expansion delivers a deeper dive into the chaotic events on Plum Island with new factions, fresh challenges, and expanded gameplay options that ramp up the tension and strategy. This expansion introduces three unique factions: - **Oceanside Construction Company**: Connected to the developer’s family history, this faction focuses on control and excels at managing large stacks of Horrors units. Their supervisor, Becky, channels nerves into a powerful playstyle, while Ty "Tuff" Murray's special abilities shine in close combat against tall Murder of Horrors stacks. - **Monkey Island Cult**: This enigmatic group arrives from the nearby islet with a mix of peculiar allies, including trained rhesus monkeys riding dolphins. Led by Elon Monk, a former billionaire entrepreneur, the cult brings precognitive powers to the table, allowing strategic re-draws of Fate Cards during their Follow actions. - **Z.Z.’s Big Top Circus**: A colorful troupe of performers aiming to banish the Horrors and reopen their circus, featuring sharpshooter Fannie Oakley and a highly maneuverable Clown Car compound. Their diverse characters offer a unique blend of mobility and offensive capabilities. New gameplay elements heighten the experience, including a challenging Nightmare Mode designed for those who believe they've mastered the base game. This mode imposes harsher conditions, such as removing key Civilians units, pre-action Event draws that can disrupt turns, and other demanding twists. Beyond the factions and Nightmare Mode, More of a Bad Thing adds:

• Additional Search and Event Cards
• A new Fate Card result linked to the "H.O.V. Lane" on Route 41
• More VIP Civilians with intriguing backstories
• A semi-cooperative play mode for players who prefer mixed alliances
• New Mutations, including the Reanimated Grizzly Bear and Frenzied Cockroaches
• Alpha Horror Tiles that boost the power of large Horror stacks
• Additional Civilians to increase the stakes
• A special "Booby Trap" combat marker that rewards precise timing
• New shorter scenarios for quicker sessions

Please note this expansion requires the base game The Plum Island Horror to play. It enriches the original with fresh strategic layers and a darker, more intense tone, perfect for players seeking to extend their survival nightmare on Plum Island.
