Description

Potemkin Villages is a strategy game for 2 to 4 players aged 12+. A fully cooperative trick-taking game set during Catherine the Great’s journey to Crimea. Players assume unique characters, winning tricks to activate abilities and collaboratively dismantle, move, and rebuild villages to create an illusion of prosperity along the Dnepr River.

Potemkin Villages is a fully cooperative trick-taking game set during Catherine the Great’s journey to Crimea. Each player assumes a unique character and wins tricks to activate special abilities. Together, you will dismantle, move, and rebuild villages along the Dnepr River, creating an illusion of prosperity. Cooperation is essential: the Governor can strengthen the Builder’s actions, while the Painter can change trump suits to support the team. If Catherine still perceives beauty after all cards have been played, you succeed; if she sees through the deception, everyone loses.
