Quartermaster General 1914 Reprint (engl.)

Description

Quartermaster General 1914 Reprint (engl.) is a strategy game for 2 to 5 players aged 12+ with a playing time of 90-120 minutes. Players manage dual-use cards to draft troops, prepare actions, and attrition opponents in a narrative of World War I. The game challenges players to balance resource use and strategic advances to capture key cities before the 17-round limit.

Quartermaster General: 1914 is a strategic card-driven wargame that captures the shifting military, technological, and social landscape of World War I in Europe. Each card in the game serves two purposes: one when played and another when prepared. On your turn, you can both play and prepare a card, offering a flexible and tactical decision-making experience. Players use cards to recruit troops, wear down opponents through attrition, and manage limited resources represented by their deck. Advancing too quickly through your deck risks leaving your armies unsupported in the late game, but bold moves such as capturing Berlin or Paris early can provide a decisive advantage. The game concludes after 17 rounds or sooner if one player gains a commanding lead, creating a tense and dynamic narrative of the Great War.
