Railroad Tiles Energy (Exp.) (engl.)

Beschreibung

Railroad Tiles Energy (Exp.) (engl.) Railroad Tiles Energy (Exp.) expands the base game by adding Wind Turbines and Energy Cables to create a power grid. Players connect turbines to Town tiles using cables that run across tile corners, introducing new strategic challenges. The expansion also includes special objectives like powering Solar Farms and Casinos, enhancing gameplay complexity and scoring opportunities.

In Railroad Tiles Energy, your goal is to create a power grid by building Wind Turbines and connecting them to Town tiles using Energy Cables. Wind Turbines have specific connection points and can be placed using any Placement token as a wild card, similar to gondolas in the Canals Expansion or lookout towers in the Forest Expansion.

Energy Cables form a new type of connection: unlike railways and highways that run along the sides of tiles, these cables run across the corners. This unique mechanic adds a strategic layer, as placing cables on the right corners can link up to three tiles at once, maximizing your network efficiently.

While Wind Turbines do not score points when built, each Town tile connected to the grid earns 1 point for every two Wind Turbines linked to it at the end of the game. Smart placement of Town tiles and careful routing of Energy Cables are crucial to powered-up scoring.

The expansion also introduces special Objectives. For example, the Solar Farm must be connected to Energy Cables on all four corners, and the Casino requires at least two electrified Town tiles around it. These add new challenges and opportunities to your gameplay.
