Sankoé: The Pride of Mansa Musa invites players to take charge of one of the prestigious schools within the Sankoré Madrasah in 14th century Timbuktu. Entrusted by Emperor Mansa Musa to spread knowledge across West Africa, you will recruit and graduate pupils, teach classes, expand your curriculum, and enrich the great library with books. Advancing knowledge in theology, law, mathematics, and astronomy, your strategy must adapt as the completed university places changing values on each discipline, influencing your final score. The game features an engaging solo mode, where you face off against a Distinguished Scholar—an ambitious academic controlled by an elegant automated system. Although not as agile as you, this opponent is focused and determined to cultivate the finest students. Can you master the academic competition and elevate the renown of the University of Sankoré under Mansa Musa’s reign?
