Scythe: The Wind Gambit (Exp.) (engl.)

Beschreibung

Mankind has long been limited to travel by land and sea, but a new technology has emerged from the greatest minds in Eastern Europa: airships. These steam-powered giants sail freely across the sky, driving their empire's expansion through both innovation and confrontation. Over time, it has become clear that no single faction will dominate for long. In an effort to reduce conflict and foster peace, the leaders of Europa gather annually to establish new ways for the factions to resolve their differences. Scythe: The Wind Gambit is an expansion for Scythe that introduces two new modules, which can be played separately or together, with any number of players and either the base game alone or combined with other Scythe expansions:

• Airships: Each faction receives one airship miniature and 16 tiles. Airships are a unique unit distinct from characters, mechs, and workers. Unlike those units, airships do not control territories. They move using the Move action and are not restricted by rivers or lakes. Each airship combines two random abilities: one aggressive and one passive, shared by all players.
• Resolutions: This module changes the endgame conditions. Instead of ending the game when a player places their sixth star, the current resolution tile determines when and how the game concludes.
