Sleeping Gods (engl.)

Beschreibung

In Sleeping Gods, you and up to three friends take on the roles of Captain Sofi Odessa and her crew, stranded in a mysterious world in 1929 aboard your steamship, the Manticore. Together, you must explore exotic islands, encounter new characters, and search for the gods’ totems to find your way back home.

Sleeping Gods is a campaign-driven game that lets you play sessions as long as you wish. When you decide to pause your adventure, you record your progress on a journey log, making it easy to resume exactly where you left off. You can play solo or with friends, and it’s simple to switch players during your ongoing campaign. Your main objective is to discover at least fourteen hidden totems scattered throughout the world. Much like reading a book, the game unfolds over multiple sessions of one or two hours, revealing new lands, stories, and challenges.

The game features an atlas system where each page represents a small section of the world you can explore. When reaching the edge of a page, you turn to the next page to continue sailing in the same direction, expanding your exploration.

Sleeping Gods is also a storybook game. Every new location offers thrilling adventures, hidden treasures, and memorable characters. Your decisions influence both the story and the fates of those you meet, shaping your journey and affecting your chances of returning home.

Embark on a vast and immersive adventure. Your journey begins now.
