Wise Wizard Games (2015)Star Realms - Colony Wars (engl.) expands the base Star Realms game by adding an 80-card trade deck that enables four-player gameplay. It also functions as a standalone deckbuilding game for two players aged 12+ with a playing time of about 20 minutes, where players build fleets to reduce their opponent's Authority to zero.
Colony Wars is a standalone deckbuilding game in the Star Realms series designed for two players. It includes an 80-card trade deck, similar to the original game, and can also serve as an expansion to the base Star Realms set, enabling gameplay for up to four players.
Players begin with a fleet of 10 basic ships and use Trade to acquire more powerful ships and bases from a central trade row consisting of five cards. This trade row is continuously refreshed by drawing from the trade deck. Many ships and bases deal Combat damage, which can be used to attack your opponent or destroy their bases. The goal is to reduce your opponent’s Authority to zero to win the game.
