In the harsh expanse of space, a well-timed Gambit can turn the tide of battle in your favor. This expansion pack adds 15 Gambit cards to your Star Realms Deckbuilding Game and Colony Wars expansion. At the start of the game, Gambit cards are dealt face down to players. You decide how many Gambits each player receives, allowing for balanced gameplay or handicaps by giving fewer Gambits to some. Unused cards are set aside face down and do not enter the game. Players keep their Gambit cards face down in front of them until they choose to reveal them. These cards remain separate from the trade deck, hand, or personal deck, distinguished by silver borders. Gambits can be revealed either at the start of the game or during a player’s main phase by simply turning the card face up. Revealing a Gambit grants you powerful abilities—either one-time effects or ongoing benefits—that can provide a crucial advantage and help secure your victory.
