Steam Power (engl.) is a strategy game for 1 to 5 players aged 14+ with a playing time of 45-90 minutes. Players race to build the best rail network by laying tracks, building factories, fulfilling contracts, and earning money. The game ends when a set number of contracts are completed, and the player with the most points wins.
In Steam Power, players compete to build the most efficient rail network, fulfilling contracts and maximizing their earnings.
On each turn, you choose two actions from options that include laying tracks, constructing factories, completing contracts, earning income, or acquiring new contracts. Building a factory adds resources to the board, which all players can use—for a price.
The game ends when a set number of contracts have been fulfilled, depending on the number of players. The winner is the player with the highest score, combining points and money converted into points.
