Talon 1000 is a dependent expansion for the game Talon, a tactical space fleet combat game between the Terran Confederation and the invading Talon Empire. The base game offers fast-paced gameplay with straightforward yet engaging rules that allow you to conduct large-scale space battles efficiently. By keeping all relevant information visible on the board, Talon enables plenty of strategic choices without overwhelming complexity. The name Talon 1000 refers to the expansion’s addition of over 1000 scenarios to the game. It includes four sheets of counters, most of which feature ships printed on both sides, adding around 130 new ships to the existing 54 from the base game. While some counters increase the number of current ship types, many introduce new designs with varied weapon configurations and loadouts. This broad range of ships provides numerous point values, making scenario balancing easier and enriching gameplay variety.
