The Glasgow Train Robbery is a cooperative game for two players set in 1960s Scotland, inspired by one of the most notorious crimes in British history. You and your partner assume the roles of key members of a criminal crew aiming to intercept and rob a high-value train—without getting caught. Throughout the game, you will collaborate to plan the heist, gather essential equipment, mislead the authorities, and carry out the robbery in a tense, high-stakes climax. Communication is limited, every decision matters, and synchronization is crucial. Can you stay ahead of the investigation and escape with the loot, or will a single mistake unravel your entire plan? Designed for intense cooperation and replayability, the game challenges players with unexpected twists and a constantly changing landscape of risks and rewards. The game unfolds over an indefinite number of turns and ends successfully if all five plan cards are completed before the train reaches London. The Coordinator must complete the first four cards, while the Operator handles the final one. Fail to finish the plan in time or leave too many clues, and the police will catch you, costing you both freedom and victory. The Glasgow Train Robbery is the first entry in a new series that draws on history’s most legendary heists. Each game transports players to a different era and setting, where teamwork under pressure is key to pulling off daring robberies—from museum thefts to infamous bank jobs. This series blends historical atmosphere with immersive gameplay, inviting players to step into the shoes of infamous criminals and test their ability to outsmart the law.
