The Rich and the Good (engl.)

Beschreibung

The Rich and the Good ist ein Kennerspiel.

The Rich and the Good is a modern edition of Carlo Rossi’s cult classic Hab & Gut, featuring a fresh graphic design while preserving Michael Menzel’s distinctive artwork. This version also introduces a new mode for two players. In the game, you trade commodities from around the world, using insider information to guide your investments and influence the markets. Your competitors are equally knowledgeable and ready to react to your moves, all while seeking to profit from the same valuable goods. Outsmarting them is essential. However, success is not defined by wealth alone. To become a respected member of High Society, you must also maintain a strong reputation by making significant charitable donations. Players who hoard their wealth and give too little risk elimination, regardless of their fortune. At the end, the player with the most money wins—provided they are not the one who donated the least. In this game, both wealth and respect determine who truly rises to the top.
