Imagine you have inherited several hundred hectares of land anywhere in the world. Your task is to replace non-native plants with indigenous species, creating a thriving habitat where various animals, including many endangered ones, can live safely. Some of these animals were rescued from human violence, injury, or illegal trade, and now rely on your care. In Sanctuary: Endangered Species, each player builds their own sanctuary dedicated to protecting different endangered animal species. Using volunteers and rangers, you develop your facility, nurture your animals, and restore their natural environment. You’ll maintain order and monitor animal behavior to ensure their well-being and safety in the face of civilization’s challenges. This unique worker placement game features an original "line of sight" mechanism, allowing players to send volunteers to various tasks that support their animals and expand their sanctuary's borders. The game offers fast-paced yet deep and satisfying tactical gameplay with simple rules. Each turn presents meaningful choices, and success depends on selecting the most efficient actions. Sanctuary: Endangered Species promises a highly replayable experience, with each game differing due to varied action decks and numerous balanced strategies. This ensures that every session brings new challenges and opportunities for strategic thinking.
