The White Castle: Boeki (Exp.) (engl.) This expansion enhances the base game with 20 Privilege cards, 12 Daimyo Gift tiles, and 6 Passage of Time tiles. Players gain new strategic options through special bonuses and end-game objectives, deepening trade and diplomacy gameplay. Compatible with the base game and the Matcha expansion, it invites players to strengthen their clans at Himeji Castle.

At the docks of Himeji, the arrival of Portuguese merchant ships opens up new opportunities for trade and drives fresh ambitions among the clans. Only those who master both commerce and diplomacy can outpace their rivals and become the true masters of the court. Bōeki is an expansion that takes The White Castle to the next level. Compatible with the base game and the Matcha expansion, it requires the base game to play. This expansion introduces 20 Privilege cards, 12 Daimyo Gift tiles, and 6 Passage of Time tiles. The 20 Privilege cards are acquired as players advance along the Passage of Time track, granting special bonuses that modify certain requirements such as dice rolls or costs of actions. The Daimyo Gift tiles are selected at the start of the game during the initial card draft. These gifts provide objectives that score points at the end of the game, contingent on reaching specific spaces on the time track. Bōeki offers new strategic layers while seamlessly integrating with The White Castle, with or without the Matcha expansion, for an enriched gaming experience.
