Tianxia The Silk Road (engl.) Tianxia The Silk Road expansion adds new scoring opportunities based on exchange actions, Caravan tile conditions, and battle outcomes. Players must also face the threat of pirates attacking the eastern coast, increasing the challenge of balancing trade and conflict along the Silk Road.

As rival kingdoms clashed in the Warring States period, a different battle unfolded along the vast Silk Road connecting East and West. Caravans laden with silk, jade, and grain traversed deserts and mountains, offering new opportunities for wealth and influence. However, these trade routes were fraught with danger: nomadic raiders threatened land convoys, while pirates attacked ports along the eastern coast, demanding tribute or blood. Success required rulers to balance warfare and commerce, building prestige not only through armies and fortifications but also by mastering trade, exchange, and the control of caravans. Tianxia: The Silk Road expansion introduces a new scoring mechanism at the end of each round. Players score based on the number of exchange actions performed, the conditions displayed on Caravan tiles, and the results of Battles. Additionally, players must face the growing threat of pirate attacks along the eastern coast, adding another layer of challenge to their quest for prosperity.
