Troika (engl.)

Description

Troika is a strategy game for 2 to 5 players aged 9+ with a playing time of 15 minutes. Explore a distant planet to collect unique stones, forming trios to craft valuable gems or fuel. Strategically reveal and choose tiles to outsmart rivals, balancing gem collection with securing fuel for your return journey in this quick, engaging tile game.

In a near future, scientists discover unique stones on a distant planet. Collecting three matching stones allows you to transform them into either a priceless gem or valuable fuel. You decide to journey to this new world in hopes of becoming wealthy. Though you arrive safely, your spacecraft runs out of fuel after a difficult journey. Now you face a tough choice: craft valuable gems or gather enough fuel to return to Earth. And you’re not alone—others have the same goal. Can you gather more gems than your rivals and still escape? The game is centered around revealing face-down tiles on the table one by one. On your turn, you must take one tile—face-up or face-down. The objective is to form as many trios of consecutive numbers as possible before all tiles are face-up. Additionally, you need at least one trio of identical numbers, called a "fuel-set," to ensure your return trip. Because the number of hidden tiles you can collect is limited—and there are more number 7 tiles than others—the game becomes highly strategic and exciting. Keep an eye on your opponents, think ahead about possible combinations, and stay focused to succeed. Troika is a quick and engaging game with a unique design that adds to the fun.
