Deep Print Games (2025)
Under the Mango Tree (engl.) is a childrens game for 2 to 4 players aged 7+ with a playing time of 15 to 20 minutes. Players draft cards simultaneously to restore a vibrant ecosystem around a mango tree by strategically choosing card halves to score points and deny opponents. The player who creates the most thriving environment wins.
In the card-drafting game Under the Mango Tree, you are entrusted with a small part of Australian wilderness full of potential but burdened by litter. A once-majestic mango tree awaits to flourish again, its branches longing for the lively presence of animals.
Each turn, players simultaneously choose a card from their hands and pass the rest to the next player. Every card features two halves: you place one half under your board, removing it from the game, and keep the other visible to earn points. This mechanic challenges you to plan carefully which halves to use and which to withhold from your opponents.
When all cards have been played, the player who has cultivated the most vibrant and valuable ecosystem around their mango tree emerges victorious.
