Alewood (engl.)

Beschreibung

Alewood is an inclusive Wild West roleplaying drinking card game where alcohol and consumption are optional, but silliness is essential. It reinvents the drinking game by rewarding lively roleplaying and allowing players to drink as much or as little as they like. Players take on the roles of various townsfolk—such as the banker, the doctor, and the saloonist—working together to defeat the Outlaws. However, only one player wins by collecting the highest bounty. Each character has a unique Grit-Meter used during shootouts to determine shooting order. These meters are arranged differently, so being the fastest shooter doesn’t always guarantee victory, and drinking less can sometimes be an advantage. Cards are used strategically to modify initiative or, more importantly, to challenge opponents with amusing acting prompts. These hindrances can quickly accumulate, and failing to perform a prompt results in discarding valuable ammo—the key to claiming bounties. While drinking can influence your strategies and grant upgrades, all benefits can also be achieved through card play and clever tactics, making everyone a potential threat. Enjoy an entertaining evening full of pints and hilarious character moments that turn your game night into an unforgettable event.
