Cerebria - The Inside World: Forces of Balance (Exp.) (engl.)

Beschreibung

Cerebria - The Inside World: Forces of Balance (Exp.) (engl.) expands the base game by introducing a third side, Balance, with two new Spirits: Intuition and Reason. It allows up to six players and adds unique mechanics and scoring methods for Balance, aiming to maintain harmony between Bliss and Gloom in the Inside World.

As Bliss and Gloom vie for control of the Inside World, a new force steps in: Balance. Neither judge nor spectator, Balance actively works to prevent any side from gaining dominance, recognizing that both Bliss and Gloom are essential for the health of Cerebria. Forces of Balance expands the game by introducing a third faction with two new Spirits: the unpredictable Intuition and the wise Reason. This expansion supports up to six players simultaneously but also adapts to smaller groups. Balance brings unique gameplay mechanics. Its Emotions, methods of Invoking Emotions, ways to gain Essence, and means to Fortify are all distinct, reflecting Balance’s playstyle. Unlike Bliss and Gloom, Balance does not compete for the Common Aspiration. Instead, players on the Balance side pursue a Hidden Aspiration with two equivalent winning conditions. Victory is achieved by scoring the most points from Identity Fragments and the Wheel of Intentions at the end of the game.
