Tash-Kalar: Arena of Legends is a strategic battle game where two to four summoners face off in the arena, either individually or in teams. By expertly placing their minions, players create magical patterns to summon powerful creatures, which they then use to defeat their opponents or set the stage for summoning legendary beings. The game features three different factions (with two copies of one faction), each with a unique deck of summonable beings, as well as a deck of legendary creatures. Players take turns placing common pieces on the board, and if they successfully form a pattern matching one of their cards, they can play that card to summon a being and activate its special effect. There are two modes of play: In the standard mode, players earn points by completing tasks set by the Arena Masters—such as controlling specific areas, destroying enemy pieces, or executing particular summon combinations. In the alternative mode, the main objective is to entertain the crowd by focusing on defeating opponents.
