Cleopatra and the Society of Architects Deluxe (engl.)

Beschreibung

Cleopatra and the Society of Architects Deluxe ist ein Familienspiel.

Cleopatra and the Society of Architects Deluxe invites players to compete in building a magnificent three-dimensional palace for Cleopatra. Each player takes on the role of an architect aiming to create the most impressive and valuable sections of the palace to become the wealthiest contender. Players may be tempted to speed up their progress by trading in questionable materials, risking corruption represented by cursed amulets honoring Sobek, the crocodile god. When Cleopatra arrives at her new palace at the end of the game, she punishes the architects with the most corruption amulets, depriving them of their wealth or sacrificing them to her crocodile. Ultimately, the richest architect who remains wins the game. This deluxe edition features a redesigned graphic style by Miguel Coimbra, a free-standing 3D palace, and an updated rulebook refined by the designers for clarity and smoother gameplay. Several gameplay elements have been revised: resource card combinations required to build palace pieces have been reworked, player rewards for construction have been recalculated, corruption penalties reconsidered, the Great Priest’s activation altered, and the player count adjusted to 2–4. Additionally, character cards are now managed separately from the deck with a new dedicated system.
