Experience the epic scale of the largest tank battle in history with Conflict of Heroes: Storms of Steel 3rd Edition. After their crushing defeat at Stalingrad, German forces gather their best panzer units for a decisive assault on the Soviet bulge at Kursk. However, Soviet intelligence has uncovered the plans, setting the stage for a deadly trap. The battle extends beyond the ground as dive bombers and strafing runs support the armored clashes, incorporating a unique “3D” aircraft movement and attack system that adds a new dimension to gameplay. Ground forces benefit from “Veteran” and “Special Weapon” cards, allowing you to tailor your units to fit your tactical approach. As the second standalone game in the acclaimed Conflict of Heroes series, Storms of Steel builds on a familiar core ruleset shared with Awakening the Bear!, enabling smooth transition between titles. Designed by noted historians Dana Lombardy, Bill Jaffe, and John Hill, the game combines easy-to-learn rules with historical accuracy. Enjoy fast-paced, simultaneous play with high-quality, large-format maps and counters. The game supports scenarios for two to four players and offers variable playtimes that fit your schedule, from quick half-hour engagements to longer, more detailed sessions. Dive into authentic WWII tactics and battlefield challenges where every decision matters.
