Description

Dwellings of Eldervale 2nd Edition (engl.) is a strategy game for 1 to 5 players aged 14+ with a playing time of 60-150 minutes. Players control unique factions in a magical world, using worker placement, area control, and engine building to battle elemental monsters and dominate eight elemental powers to shape Eldervale.

Dwellings of Eldervale is a sprawling worker placement game set in a once-forgotten magical realm. As mighty elemental monsters roam the lands, dragons, wizards, and warriors vie for control over eight powerful elemental forces. Each player commands a unique faction, embarking on adventures, engaging in battles, and growing in strength to ultimately shape Eldervale according to their vision. The game combines worker placement, area control, engine building, and specialized worker abilities. On their turn, players either place a worker in one of Eldervale’s diverse locations or regroup and activate their tableau of adventure cards. Key locations include a summoning portal, an ancient mill, the lost fortress, deep dungeons, a crumbling mage tower, and the elemental realms of Earth, Air, Fire, Water, Light, Dark, Order, and Chaos. Magic cards provide spells, quests, and prophecies that influence gameplay. Victory depends on securing the greatest elemental dominance through multiple strategic paths, determining who will ultimately reign over Eldervale.
