Falling Sky: The Gallic Revolt Against Caesar - Ariovistus (Exp.) (engl.)

Beschreibung

Gaul, 58 BC: Rival Celtic tribes have invited German mercenaries and an ambitious Roman governor into their fractured land as protectors. Before Caesar’s bold claim over all Gaul leads his legions further north to battle the Belgae, a powerful Sueban chieftain rallies more warbands from Germania’s forests to stake his own claim to power.

The Ariovistus expansion brings 1-4 players into Caesar’s initial campaign in Gaul, featuring a Helvetian migration challenging the Aedui and Germanic tribes pressing close behind. It introduces new components and a Germanic Tribes faction, allowing one player to command these warriors, while experienced Roman, Aedui, and Belgic players confront new strategic challenges and events. For those seeking greater depth, an extended scenario covers Caesar’s entire decade-long struggle in Gaul.

As a prequel to the popular COIN Series volume Falling Sky, this expansion adds more tactically nuanced and aggressive non-player elements, along with durable Force mats usable in both the original Falling Sky and Ariovistus scenarios. (A copy of Falling Sky is required to play.)
